How did Bridge Bible Talk start?
Two weeks after the official shutdown of March 2020, The Bridge staff was busy preparing to air the first Bridge Bible Talk episode on Sunday, March 21st.
The idea of a live Bible question and answer program had been in the works before the pandemic; however, as the news became more and more uncertain, we knew it was the right time to start Bridge Bible Talk.
“WITHIN THE COVERS OF THE BIBLE ARE THE ANSWERS FOR ALL PROBLEMS MEN FACE."
- Ronald Reagan
During the Pandemic
Once we decided to move forward with Bridge Bible Talk, we reached out to our Bridge teachers to be part of the program. Bridge Bible Talk began as a weekly program answering questions ranging from the Biblical view on schooling to the signs of the end times.
As the program began to gain traction, we knew we would need a more permanent space. Construction on the Bridge Bible Talk studio began April 30th, 2020 and less than a month later on May 23rd, 2020, the studio was completed and ready to go live!
On Monday, August 3rd, 2020, we officially took Bridge Bible Talk live daily. It has been over a year since the program began its weekly show, and we have had many intriguing questions, and many Bridge teachers have been guests. There have been countless people reached through the Word of God, more than we can know on this side of eternity!
"For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart."
